Simple options for viscose dresses.

It is easy to sew an outfit of viscose with your own hands, even an inexperienced seamstress will cope with sewing. Here are three options for simple models, the production of which takes from one to three hours.

Option One: Greek Style Dress

This model is perfect for evening walks and ceremonies.

  • 2 measurements are taken: OB (hip circumference) and OT (waist circumference). They compare and select a larger value, it will be needed when cutting.
  • A fabric cut of 1.50 m. To 1.50 m. Folds in half in length, with a fold to itself.
  • Half of the greater value is postponed from the fold of the material, a serif is set - this is the width of the future dress. From this point, a vertical line is drawn up, but not brought to the top edge by 25 cm.
  • According to the perpendicular, a machine line will be laid, the second line will run in parallel at a distance of 1 cm from the first.
  • The drawstring twitches between the seams and the dress is pulled along the side seam. Edges can not be processed, as they do not crumble.
  • An outfit is put on, the shoulder seam is pinned to a decorative pin or fastened with threads to the tone of the material. Greek dress - done!

Option Two: Wrap Dress with Open Back

For slim figures fit tight outfits. Many young girls will be happy to replenish their wardrobe with such a model.

  • measurements are taken: ШГ (dress width along the bodice), О (hip circumference), top length, distance from the waist to the desired neckline length.
  • the fabric folds to itself. An even bottom line is drawn, the length of the dress, which depends on the style of the selected product, is laid up from it. A horizontal waistline is drawn. Since our product is smelling, the width at the waist and hips will be the same, so it makes no sense to separate the line of the hips separately. Measure Sat (half hips) with an increase of 20 cm and divided by 2, is postponed from the fold of the fabric. From the waistline along the fold, the length of the top is measured. It remains to set aside the width of the product on the bodice. The waist and bottom lines are connected by a straight line, the width of the bodice with the waist line is a smooth curve.
  • the top of the neck is machined by turning, it can be cut out whole, adding 2.5 cm to the length of the top. A drawstring will be inserted into the neck: the width when cutting is 4 cm, in the finished form - 1 cm, which is tied around the neck. The armhole is tucked and adjusted to the main product or processed as a neck (by turning). 60 - 70 cm long ties are attached to the waist.

Option Three: Dress with a semi-fitted silhouette

Semi-adjacent viscose silhouettes are best for women aged. Since the fabric is quite thin and tight, there is no need to flaunt all your charms.

  • for this outfit, you need two measurements: OT (waist circumference), accident (length of the front waist);
  • a piece of material is taken: 3 m long and 1.4 m wide, folds in length, and then in width - 4 layers of fabric are obtained; is bent toward itself;
  • from the upper bend down, the measure of an accident (the length of the front waist) is laid down, a horizontal line of the waist is drawn through this point. The value of ST is laid on it (half of the waist circumference) with an increase of 3-4 cm. From this line down at a distance of 18 cm, a hip line is drawn. An extension is made from the waist to the bottom. A sleeve line is smoothly drawn, going from the waist up and falling to the bottom. The upper fold of the material will be a deflated shoulder turning into a long sleeve;
  • only one seam is sewn in this dress: starting from the bottom line and ending with the bottom of the sleeve;
  • the neck is processed by a grinder, which is cut out in its shape; or oblique piping, you can buy it in a store or cut it out from the same fabric. The bottom of the sleeve is zigzag stitch. A drawstring can be inserted along the waistline. Side seams are complemented by cuts.

Dresses with drapery look good from viscose fabric, but these are already complex models and you can not do without a base pattern. The pattern is modeled: drapery lines are drawn, cut and moved apart to the desired width. It is pleasant and easy to sew an outfit that will delight you and provide an incentive for further creative ideas. Improve your skills and move on to creating more complex cut models.
