- The second stage is fabric cutting. Pre-prepared patterns for sewing a tablecloth will not be needed. On pre-ironed fabric make notes with a pencil or dried piece of solid soap. The excess is cut off.

- The third stage is corner processing. The tablecloth is considered a "business card" of each housewife. That is why it should have a presentable appearance both from the front and from the wrong side. In order for the corners to be beautiful, even from the inside, they must be processed. To do this, the cut material is laid upside down on the table and bent 1 cm from each edge (the fabric is fixed with pins). Inversions are well ironed (if the material allows this). Then, segments equal to the two planned sizes of the hem are laid on both sides of the corners. Marks are connected with a pencil. The inside out fabric is folded along so that these points are connected, sew a corner on a typewriter.
Important! In order for the corner to turn out smoothly, the edge of the remaining allowance at the bend is cut at an angle.
- The fourth step is bending processing. The sides are ironed and sewed on the machine from the wrong side at a distance of 1 mm from the bend.
