Glove creation process step by step

  1. We make blanks of each part for 2 pieces in a mirror image.
  2. We bend the edges of the cuff by 0.5 cm and fold it in half, sew. Before reaching the edge, we sharpen the stitching part of the Velcro, at the same time we build up the second side.
  3. Sew a finger to the upper part. We turn it out and lay the finishing line 5 mm.
  4. From the wrong side at the finger level we fix the seal. Adjust the soft part of the Velcro.
  5. On the palms we mark the cuts, impose a lining of cotton fabric and lay a line. In the center, create a cut with a rounded bottom to adjust the clasp. Sew an elastic band that will fix the glove on the hand. We grind the finger part together with the lining, turn it out and give the finishing line.
  6. We place the leather strips on the upper cuts of the gloves and sew them along the edge and cuts at the same time. We turn the inside out, skip the decorative line, edging the cuts. Do not forget to fix the seams at the ends.
  7. We cut off excess skin along the stitching line. We skip the line under the fingers. We cut out a piece of the seal about 1 cm and sew it between the palm part and the lining in the place of the internal bend.
  8. Sew the fingers to the bottom of the lining. We assemble the finished parts of the upper and lower lining. We connect only them, without capturing the skin.
  9. Now we begin assembly of all received details. Fold the front sides to each other top and bottom. We apply Velcro down to the cuff. On the upper part, we attach the edge, collecting it first on a thread or making small tucks with tweezers. The lining is not grabbing .
  10. We lay a strip of leather or braid over the roller and make a tack. It will be a jumper between your finger and palm.
  11. Reaching the wrist, place the second half of the velcro fastener down.
  12. We turn the gloves on the front side and straighten. Now you need to fill them with foam, wrapped in lining fabric . We place it inward between the upper part of the finger and the lining. We do the same with the back of the hand.
  13. Under the Velcro, we make a fastening line so that the lining does not pull up . Sew the edging to the cut. Our gloves are ready.
