How to fill trousers in berets

In 2007, the Russian army switched to wearing high boots instead of tarpaulin and chrome boots. These boots have high berets, which, together with the fixation of the ankle, allow him to perform maximum free movements. The risk of stretching the foot in such shoes is greatly reduced. The military nicknamed these lace-up boots with berets.

Fashion for berets

Now men in high boots can be found not only in the army. These shoes have occupied their niche in men's fashion a dozen years ago, and since then on the streets of our cities young people in berets have not shocked anyone.

Previously, it was believed that these were shoes of punks, rockers and skinheads. Now, berets choose for fishing, tourism, war games (for example, laser tag), extreme sports, as well as for everyday wear.

With high boots, they usually wear camouflage pants or khaki cargo pants in black and brown. Wearing with jeans or sweatpants is allowed.

Important! Classic trousers with berets do not fit.

How to fill trousers in berets

Before you tuck your pants into your shoes, you need to lace them up in the usual way and make knots at the end of the laces. This is done so that when urgently putting on shoes, the laces do not fall out of the nests. Shoelaces need to be taken more authentically.

There are several ways that differ from each other and the attributes for refueling pants, and the method of laying the leg around the leg. Let's take a closer look.

Description of refueling methods

Pleated

This is the easiest way to get your pants in boots:

  • Loosen the lacing or half-lace up so that the foot fits freely in the shoe.
  • Put on a boot.
  • Spread the edge of the leg with palms on the right and left sides at the same time so that a fold is obtained.
  • Lace up your shoes immediately to the very top.
  • Tie the laces on the knot and pull out its ears until it is fixed with the final knots that were made in advance.
  • The resulting two long loops from the shoelaces should be tucked under the berets on both sides.
  • Repeat the same steps on the other leg.

A fold of loose fabric can be made on the leg in front or behind.

The disadvantage of this dressing is that the seams of the legs are pressed into the skin and rubbed. When moving on wet terrain or in bad weather, water falling on trousers drains directly into boots, sand and pine needles from trousers also go there.

Also, the option of filling trousers in berets with a fold is not very comfortable to wear: trousers come out of the shoes when running, heavy movements or just walking, and after a while the fabric protrudes ugly in the knees.

Important! This method is not suitable for shoes with thick laces - they lie under the shoe very tightly and pinch your foot in this place.

With rubber bands over the leg

Purchased elastic bands with a Velcro connection (Velcro fastened) will help you tuck your pants and form a neat tuck up of the leg underneath:

  • Shoes are put on and lace up.
  • The ends of the laces are tucked under the berets.
  • The trouser leg is tucked from below and pulled up just above the boot.
  • The leg is laid tightly around the lower leg, a fold from the back is formed from the free tissue.
  • An elastic band with a velcro connection is fixed to the leg on top of the circumference of the leg.
  • A margin of a couple cm should remain to the edge so that the trouser fabric does not come out with active movement.
  • The final stage is the gradual lowering of the trouser leg pulled up and the uniform smoothing of folds and assemblies.
  • The same thing is repeated for the other leg.

This method is convenient for men with very thin or large legs. But for use in operating units, the following method is more convenient, which allows you to instantly remove the knife from the boot.

With elastic at the bottom

There is nothing complicated here. It is worth trying once, and the hands themselves will do the necessary actions. You will need two rubber bands connected along the circumference of the lower leg.

The following actions are performed:

  1. A standard elastic band is worn over the pants leg and pulled to the knee.
  2. The boot is put on and laced up.
  3. Lower the leg and straighten, and then bend up 10-12 cm.
  4. Lower the gum to the edge of the leg so that until the end there is still 3-4 cm.
  5. Now lower the edge of the leg, which was up, down and, having reached the elastic, bend it around the entire lower leg twice.
  6. Spread evenly.
  7. Repeat on the other leg.

With high socks

There are situations when the elastic breaks in a march-throw or is lost. Then you need to use the capabilities of army (or other high) socks, the length of which is much higher than shoes.

Here a little different actions will be required:

  • Put on and lace up the boot.
  • Hide the laces over the edge of the tibia.
  • To turn out the high part of a sock and to pull on a high part of a boot.
  • Lower the trouser leg from above.
  • Connect together the two edges - the legs and the sock - and tuck them also together 3-5 cm below the bottom.
  • Spread the formed folds evenly around the entire circumference.
  • Repeat manipulations for the other leg.

With these methods, everything that gets on the pants just rolls down, and not into the boot. The upper part of the shoe is securely closed from the weather by trousers.

If the laces are inconvenient to tuck under the berets, then you can hide them under the toe and only then tuck the pants.
