Materials and tools for sewing

Work should begin with preparation. You will need to cook:
- set of sewing pins;
- slate pencil;
- iron;
- tailor scissors;
- severe thick thread;
- centimeter tape;
- felt-tip pen or paint on the fabric;
- electric machine for sewing.
IMPORTANT! To sew a daily cloth bag, you will need a piece of fabric 90 cm long and 1 m wide 40 cm.

Start by cutting the constituent parts. A shopping bag consists of several items.
- Basis: 2 identical parts 30 cm wide, 46 cm high.
- Handles: 2 tapes 10x35 cm.
- Boca: 2 halves 8x46cm.
- Pocket: square 18x16 cm.
Step-by-step sewing instructions
A handmade product will bring a sense of celebration to your life and create a good mood. Starting to sew, you must strictly adhere to a certain order.
Paper patterns in this case can be omitted. All the necessary parts of shopping bags are easy to mark right on the fabric and then cut out.
Important! When cutting, add 1-2 cm for allowances for the seams.
- Fold the halves of the valve face inward, stitch them along the edge and twist.
- Stitch the fabric for the straps along, with a pencil, turn them on the face.
- In the right place, make a buttonhole and sew the strap to the valve. Do the same with the other part.
- Hem pocket to the base, guided by the midline of these patterns. First, you should make a hem bend on the details of the pocket.
- Sew the prepared valve to the base three centimeters higher than the pocket. You can sew over the part or from the inside.
- Bend the ribbons for pens in width from the inside out, stitch along the edge, twist with a pencil, straighten and smooth.
- On both parts of the base, make mirror folds opposite each other.
- Combine two cloth foundations face to face and stitch them. At the same time, the seam line should capture along the edge of the handle, folds, pocket, decor straps.
- Turn up and process the top of the finished product.
