To make a similar product from plastic bottles, you will need to perform the following steps:
Thoroughly wash and dry the prepared containers, completely cleaning them from the remnants of labels and glue. Aggressive cleaning solvents should not be used; plastic may tarnish. It is better to hold containers in warm water for some time. This will help remove glue without any extra effort.
All bottles must have their necks and bottoms cut off. The remaining plastic cylinder should be cut and put on top of it to straighten a heavy object of a suitable shape.
Prepare a piece of thick cardboard for the bottom of the future product.
5 * 5 cm squares need to be cut from the straightened plastic blank. To protect the sharp edges, they can be rounded with scissors or slightly burned.
Holes should be made around the entire perimeter of the resulting workpieces, backing at least 3 mm from the edges.
Using a crochet hook, you need to tie the edges of the parts with polypropylene threads with columns with air loops (2-3 rows will be enough).
All blanks must be connected to each other, stitching them from the inside to get the product as in the photo.
