- take the cling film and wrap it around the body. Do not squeeze the body, you or your model should be comfortable. By the way, instead of cling film you can use cellophane or polyethylene;
- tape over everything covered with tape. Take small pieces of adhesive tape of 5-15 cm. And stick them with an overlap;
- apply gypsum soaked in water on the entire surface covered with adhesive tape sequentially from the back to the front, then under the chest and cross crosswise over the shoulders. In order for the cast to be strong and solid in the future, you need to apply at least 2-3 layers of bandages;
- wait until the gypsum hardens (occupation is not one of the most pleasant, because it is very difficult to find the gypsum on the whole body) and proceed to remove it. Apply control measures on the sides and shoulders, as well as on the hips to then evenly connect the parts;
- Carefully cut the gypsum figure into 2 halves with a sharp ordinary or clerical knife. Do it slowly, so as not to accidentally cut yourself or injure yourself;
- dry your mannequin and cover each of the two halves inside with molten paraffin;
- Fill the insides with foam. After applying the last layer of foam, connect the two halves and fasten the resulting structure with tape.
- Saw off the excess from the structure so that its edges are even and allow it to dry.
- remove the tape and remove the resulting mannequin from the mold. Remove any paraffin wax. Sand with sandpaper;
- cover with putty and sand it again with sandpaper;
- papier-mache paper over the structure;
- cover with batting or synthetic winterizer;
- make a stand as for an ordinary Christmas tree as a "cross".
