Tools and materials for work

To make amber beads with your own hands, you need to prepare:

epoxy resin (preferably imported);
organic glass with a thickness of about 1.5 - 2 mm to create a form;
hardener;
glycerol;
fine sand paper;
GOI paste.

Reference! Epoxy can be purchased at hardware stores or on the construction market.

To make the desired shape, you need to pick up a metal object of a suitable shape, press it into plexiglass and wait until the shape hardens. Then, the mold must be lubricated with glycerin from the inside, so that subsequently epoxy does not adhere to it.

The resin must be thoroughly mixed with the hardener in a ratio of 9: 1. Then you should pour the mixture into the mold, drop 2-3 drops of water into it and mix with a thin stick, performing circular movements. This will provide a visual amber effect.

The product must be allowed to solidify, then drill holes in the resulting beads. Now you can make jewelry of them to your liking.

How to make amber beads with your own hands?

Amber is considered a universal stone for making beads and other jewelry of this kind, since it suits almost everyone. But the design of beads made of such a stone should be taken carefully.

A silver thread with round amber beads located at a fairly large distance from each other is perfect for young women .

A good option for adult ladies is a two-level jewelry with medium-sized stones. Older women in most cases choose a string of large amber.

Model 1 - in the shape of a flower

To make a flower-shaped decoration, you need to cook:

tapes of different thickness;
amber beads of different sizes;
2 rings;
6 clamps;
threads
cable;
cabochon.

Technique of execution:

On a small piece of cable, you must use a retainer to attach a decorative ring.
Next, beads should be strung onto the cable until a necklace of the required length is formed and, with the help of another retainer, fasten the edge on the second ring.
In a similar way, it is necessary to make the remaining rows, trying to make each subsequent row a little shorter, so that the tiers can be arranged nicely.
Of the two tapes having a large width, you need to cut strips (of the largest - 7, of the finer - 6). The length of the strips is determined in accordance with the desired splendor of the flower (the longer the strips are, the more magnificent the product will be).

Using a needle and thread, it is necessary to sequentially string the ribbons folded in two equal parts. You need to start with the largest and end with the smallest.
The thread should be tightened so that the petals are pressed one against the other. Then the blank must be folded in the shape of a flower, fixed with stitches, decorate the center with a cabochon and sew the resulting flower to a decorative ring.
2 strips of equal length should be cut off from the thin ribbon to form the ties. Then they should be passed through the rings, then folded in half and tied around the neck.

Model 2 - Amber Necklace

For an amber necklace, you should prepare:

amber beads (pp - 8, 10 mm);
chain of bronze (70 cm);
two leaf-shaped bronze locks;
hugs for beads (16 pcs, 8 mm and 10 mm);
rings for bronze (6 pcs, 0.5 mm);
bronze wire (17-20 cm in diameter of 0.6 mm);
bronze pins (4 cm, the number should correspond to the number of beads);
pliers, nippers.

Technique of execution:

You should put a bead on the pin and wind it in the form of a spiral using round-nose pliers, as shown in the photo.
The same thing needs to be repeated with the addition of a hug (first put a hug on the pin, then a bead and screw the pin onto the round-nose pliers in the form of a spiral).
Similar actions must be repeated with all beads.
Now you should rewind 15 cm of the wire, adding 3-4 spare cm and break off with wire cutters. Make a loop (pin) with pliers.
Beads must be strung on the wire (first smaller, then large, then again small).
Remove excess wire with a pair of wire cutters and use a pair of pliers to form a loop identical to the one on the opposite side.
Attach the ring to the wire loop with pliers.
Attach one of the leaves with a ring to the other ring on the wire. Similar actions must be performed on the opposite side.
The chain must be divided in half (35 cm each), take the ring, string the chains and the second part of the toga (branch) on it and close the ring using round-nose pliers.
